Indian Red
Introduction
Indian red (medium flower) is an imported granite, which refers to a type of pure iron oxide (ferric iron), a by-product of the furnace, which is usually extracted from the waste slag of a steel plant. As the artist's most basic pigment, Indian Red is dense, opaque and durable, and has a relatively tight, dark and dark brick red hue compared to the bright, vivid highest shades of bright red and other pure iron oxide pigments.
